Prof. Dr. Oliver Bruns: Biomedical Imaging beyond the Visible - Fluorescence Imaging in the Shortwave-Infrared
To mark the 20th anniversary of our faculty, a series of lectures will be held this summer semester with selected talks from the biology, geology and chemistry sections. As part of this celebratory colloquium, Prof. Dr. Oliver Bruns will give a lecture in Englisch, on Monday 23 June at 17:00 in Oetker lecture hall (Callinstr. 3a, PCI) entitled:
„Biomedical Imaging beyond the Visible - Fluorescence Imaging in the Shortwave-Infrared?“
Oliver Bruns is Professor of Functional Imaging in Surgical Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine at TU Dresden. His research focuses on short-wave infrared light and fluorescent markers to transform imaging in cancer surgery with a novel method.
