From 12 - 15 May 2025, the mid-term Conference and the fifth thematic Workshop of the EU Horizon project SELINA, coordinated by PhyGeo, took place in Ponta Delgada on the Azores island of São Miguel, Portugal, at our ERASMUS partner university. The meeting, which was attended by a total of 80 people from all EU member states, Switzerland, Israel, the UK and Norway, was organised under the theme of ‘Integration’ and aimed at bringing together the outcomes from the main working Strands of the project A) Stakeholder engagement, B) Understanding ecosystems and their services and C) Informed decisions. The PhyGeo delegation consisted of Joana Seguin, Emily Bank, Angie Faust, Luke Brander and Benjamin Burkhard. The next project meeting will take place in October 2025 in Trento, Italy.
