Team Tectonics, Structural Geology and Tectonic Geomorphology

In the working group of Professorin Andrea Hampel, geoscientists investigate tectonic, geomorphologic and geodynamic processes. Depending on the research topic, they carry out geological field work, collect samples for lab analyses and use computer-aided methods like GIS-based analyses und numerical modelling. The research fields and methods are integrated in the teaching on BSc and MSc level by the group members.
