Team Geochemistry

The Geochemistry team under Professor Stefan Weyer explores the geochemical behaviour of metals in space and time, in near-surface cycles, and in the deep Earth. It has developed internationally-recognized expertise in the development of new analytical methods and in the exploration of new fields for the application of stable isotope geochemistry. In research, the team participates in several priority programs and collaborative projects and in teaching, it conveys its expertise, for example, through internationally attended short courses for doctoral and master's students.
